Out of many accomplished alumni from the presitigious music school, Tavonna Miller was hand-picked to be one of 11 alumni mentors for Berklee College of Music's first Songwriting Workshop program for the summer 2014!

Tavonna mentored new and prospective songwriting students alongside accomplished songwriters & artists including April Bender (Betty Who), Casey Sullivan (Air Traffic Controller) & Jennah Bell. During the workshop, Tavonna participated on a panel discussions, facilitated daily group critique sessions of songs, & instructed on a variety of songwriting-related topics like structure and the creative process!

"It was a really inspiring experience to flesh out some of the technical aspects of songwriting with writers new and old attending this workshop! It was a pleasure to delve into some of these topics that lay at the foundation of creating art from our unique life experience & skill."

Tavonna has since received an invitation to come back and mentor again in the 2015 Songwriting Workshop session and very much looks forward!
